Amapiano africa Summit

Getting Down To Business

The first of its kind, AmaPiano Africa Summit is set to take place in time for Youth Month in South Africa.  Curated and conceptualized by Thulani Maduse, well known in the entertainment and events industry as Thulani Way, under the With Or Without You company and its culturally influential movement, the aim is to infiltrate and educate; equipping artists and creatives with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure that they benefit from their passion and ideas.  The motivation behind the summit lies in assisting mostly up-and-coming artists, especially those from townships navigate the many aspects of the industry, such as Brand Management, PR and Legal Rights in addition to presenting their music.

Taking place at the well-known Zone 6 Venue in Soweto, on Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th the much anticipated 2-day summit will be placing the spotlight on the undeniable, ever-growing and proudly South African AmaPiano music genre.

Showcasing the theme Revolutionization of AmaPiano, the implemented workshops will focus on translating the relevance and value of music, especially AmaPiano, and art.

Music will be further studied, not only placing a spotlight on it but on the artists and their craft as well.  Unifying African creatives, promoting AmaPiano on a larger scale locally and internationally and echoing the role that music can and does play our socio-economic development is also at the crux of the summit.

“We’re proud to be bringing a unique and engaging summit that speaks to South African artists that would like to broaden their music and entertainment industry knowledge, in order to enrich their careers. We’re also bringing various stakeholders from the private and public sectors to further educate the artists and creatives that will be in attendance. The spirit of networking is also imperative”, expresses With Or With You founder, Thulani Maduse.

The 2-day summit will be hosted from 9AM until 4PM on each day, with a DJ line-up that will serve as entertainment following the workshops.

Tickets are now available for purchase on Webtickets at R100 for each day.

Online at www.webtickets.co.za and at PicknPay stores nationwide.
