Biography

MYDIR is an artist/dj who is known for his unique blend of deep, melodic, Afro infused music. With his deep bass lines, rhythmic drums & deep emotion creating a unique journey within his sets.  His philosophy is all about telling a story and taking the listener on a journey into his world. His time spent travelling the world and embracing different cultures are what set him apart. Time spent as a promoter in Ibiza, working in the industry and understanding our culture has been key to his success thus far.
He currently has 2 radio residencies with his Electronic Motion show the iconic Data Transmission Radio bringing some of the biggest names in Deep & Afro house into the guest mix. He also has a residency on London based Afro House station Drums Radio and is a resident DJ for their events.
This year he has warmed up for the likes of David Morales, Enoo Napa & Buddhi satva at venues such as The Rainbow events in Birmingham & The Arch Brighton.
To add to his already ever growing list of successes, this October sees the launch of his own club night and residency in Manchester delivering the best in Afro and tribal sounds in a carnival style Combined this with the release of his own music later this year and unique skill set in the booth it won’t be long before MYDIR is reaching the accolades his hard work deserves…….MYDIR…. you heard the name here first.
