London’s Newest Music Festival Unveils Star-Studded Lineup
Get ready, London! Piano People in the Park is coming, and it’s bringing the biggest Amapiano names with it. The inaugural outdoor festival will take over Southwark Park on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The Lineup: Who’s Who of Amapiano
Headlining the event are the legendary Scorpion Kings, DJ Maphorisa, and Kabza De Small. They will be joined by a stellar lineup, including:
- Young Stunna: South Africa’s rising star with his infectious beats.
- Vigro Deep: The prodigy DJ known for his deep house sounds.
- MaWhoo: The soulful queen of Amapiano.
- Oskido: A pioneer in South African dance music.
- Thakzin: The master of 3-Step Gqom.
- Zakes Bantwini: Renowned for his Afro Tech and Afro House hits.
- Atmos Blaq: Bringing the best of Afro Tech.
- Uncool MC: The crowd’s favorite host.
Plus, London’s own Via Seri and many more will be lighting up the stage.

European Groove Stage
In true Piano People fashion, the festival will feature the European Groove stage, spotlighting the next wave of talent from Europe. Look out for performances by:
- Kwamzy and Shannen SP from London
- Sofi Mlow, the UK Latin DJ
- Unruly Phoenix from Amsterdam
- Joe Shamzz from Manchester

Piano People’s Legacy
Piano People have already made waves with major events at Afro Nation Portugal and Miami, and London’s first Amapiano residency. Their 2023 one-day festival at Drumsheds was a landmark event for London’s dance music scene. Now, they’re set to bring the Amapiano vibe to Southwark Park, and later this year, to Central Park in New York.
