DRUMS RADIO is a MOVEMENT for creative excellence in celebrating the global, multi-faceted sound that is Afro House, a characteristically African sub-genre of House music with its roots firmly in South Africa.
The CATALYST. A desire to hear the music we love continuously. The DRIVE. Creating a platform to introduce an unsuspecting world, to the multitude of ARTISTS we partied to…laughed and cried with. It’s an open door to a community of exceptionally talented creatives whose raw energy, and powerful expressions unify, and captivate as you surrender to the call of the Ancestors.
DRUMS RADIO’s unique position as the only 24/7 platform dedicated to AFROHOUSE affords our family of global contributors the opportunity to share knowledge, develop and grow within a community of like-minded individuals.
Established in 2017, our broadcasters, from around the globe, include the internationally renowned producers, and brands Boddhi Satva, Rise Berlin, Uncover Music, SP Recordings and legends in the making Caiiro, Saint Evo & Freddy Da Stupid as well as a talent pool of DJs from Europe, North America, Canada, and the African continent. We have several volunteer roles available across the station for those wishing to gain experience of the industry or for those who have worked within the media industry and are looking to pass on their skills. Applicants can be located anywhere in the world, should be 18 years and over and have access to the internet from home. On Air Presenters
On air talent is the heart of any station!! We are not looking for DJs who only want to play music. We are seeking budding presenters, passionate about afrohouse music, with a willingness to learn and ability to connect with our listeners.

If you are interested in any of the volunteer opportunities below and can commit for a minimum of 24 weeks, please send your CV, a cover letter outlining any relevant experience and interests to info@drumsradio.com.
· Produce audio* (e.g. station imaging, stings, jingles, interviews)
· Support the expansion of our online footprint (social media and website),
· Attract new advertisers and sponsors,
· Create informative copy for the music, producers and artists we showcase,
· Have experience of writing funding applications to grant awarding bodies.
We are actively seeking volunteers with the technical ability to
· Plan and set-up the audio and visual recording/broadcast of live events.
We will not share your details under any circumstances, with other individuals or organizations without your express permission, except when applicable by law.
