Dr Feel made in africa

I want to build momentum and excite my supporters

Celebrating Africa’s uniqueness a star-studded line-up has been drawn from the afro house fraternity by South African DJ/producer Dr Feel as he prepares to make a sonic boom with the release of his debut album ‘Made In Africa’.

The Bosom Records release is the culmination of the multi-genre producers head down approach through the pandemic, which saw him focus on afro house and release over 10 Eps and over 160 songs.  This redirection and genre focus resulted in many positive results and accomplishments, the biggest and proudest move his soon to be released 13- track debut album.

“Made in Africa” by the Johannesburg based DJ/Producer, has long been in the works. Dr Feel has been working on it for some time and believes now is the right time

I wanted to create and have a sound that defines Dr Feel, a sound with my signature and I feel like this is the right time. Also taking into consideration the success of my previous releases and the growth of my brand which I wanted to establish in the Afro House scene. I wanted to build momentum, to excite my supporters when I drop and I believe I have achieved that part”.

The track record of his journey is extensive and encouraging. From having produced for the likes of Ifani, working with MTN, releasing a book, getting radio spins to featuring on many of Traxsource charts and in Black Coffee’s international sets and Spotify track IDs more than once, Dr Feel has come a long way.

Made in Africa was inspired by my love for the continent, Its rich culture, its spiritual and traditional uniqueness. I wanted to create a project that embodies all these aspects and have everyone who is from the continent relate and feel a certain pride, but also for someone outside the continent to be in awe and intrigued but also be captivated, not just by my album but by Africa too.”

The album, adorned with Afro House also boasts a touch of Progressive and Soulful House and features an array of talented vocalists and producers from across the globe.  These include Peter Mac, Kreative Natives, Zhane, Nwabisa, Michelle Cartello, Native Tribe & Da Q-Bic, Sarchieman, Sergio Martella, Ele Producer, Rusty Gold and KayTee En Glent.

Made In Africa is available exclusively on Traxsource from May 7th and is released to all platforms on May 30th.
